Tyler Moody Operates Auto Lift
During a recent unit on Machines and Tools, the children and staff of BTC Preschool visited the Automotive Technology class. In addition to seeing all the tools, the children were able to stand on a lift as it was raised and were able to actually lift a car up using a hydraulic jack. BTC Preschool operates as a lab for the Human Services class at BTC. Students enrolled in this class learn about human development with a special emphasis on early childhood. They have the opportunity to work in the preschool, including planning curriculum. Students came up with the idea to have this field trip and did all the planning to make it happen.
BTC provides technology and career education to high school and adult
students as they strive to reach their future goals. Students
complement their high school academic course work with BTC programs that
have highly qualified instructors, state of the art equipment and work
site opportunities.
